RehabCare's community-based resource centres assist people with disabilities to achieve their full potential and a better quality of life.
Our resource centres provide people with access to a range of supports and activities on a one-to-one basis and in group settings. Activities vary from centre to centre and depending on the interests of the people who attend each service some examples are: art and crafts, drama, horticulture, leisure activities, cookery, independent living skills, sports, dancing, group excursions and many more. This is a low/medium support service: promoting ongoing personal development and focusing on supporting people to play positive and active roles in their local community, increasing autonomy and choice in their own lives and being actively involved in the managing of their own health and well being.

River's Edge is located in the heart of Arklow, overlooking the scenic Avoca River estuary. The centre caters for adults with ages ranging from 18 to 50, who have a wide range of interests including music and performance, literature, history, local knowledge, sport and art.
